One of the most valuable things as a teacher is your PLN (Personal Learning Network). I've been blessed enough to work on two continents and have made teaching connections along the way. A goal I have for our class is to be world citizens and live (and learn) outside the walls of our classroom. I began searching for ways to eliminate distances and make connections with other classes around the world. I put a tweet out into the Twitter world and viola, we had our first Mystery Skype. It was a blast, and the great thing about it was while the students were engaged and having fun, they also learned and practiced valuable 21st century skills, teamwork, and communication. Please check out our video and leave comments to let us know what you think or how we can connect with you!

Hola!!! I am a previous coworker and friend of your teacher Mrs. K! I loved your mystery skype specially because it was from Venezuela and I am from Venezuela although I currently live in Dalian , China (where I met your teacher). It is amazing how great 21sy century students you are becoming!. I would say that I would have liked to hear the audio of the classroom working time you could put a softer music and have a little bit of the dialogues happening in the class. I currently teach English to Chinese students ffrom 2 years olf to 12 years old. If you want me to participate in your skype activities I would love to. Send me an email and we can arrange times!
