Students worked together in groups to create a Glog that describes a natural disaster that had an impact on a community or area. The Social Studies standard students were assessed on is, "Understand human and environmental interaction and its impact on the past and consequences for the future." Students also were assessed on the Language Arts standard, "Learn and use the general skills and strategies of the reading process to understand and interpret a variety of informational texts."
